Selecting courses

  1. How do I know which training course to pick?

You can apply to be funded for multiple training courses through the LDSS funding scheme therefore just pick whichever courses are most relevant

  1. How long does the training take?

On each individual course we have specified the recommended training hours required for passing the qualification.

  1. Will I be expected to attend training on certain days?

Some courses are identified as having a hybrid delivery or as having observations as part of the assessment. We will contact you to arrange suitable times and dates, so that we can fit in around your working hours.

  1. Can I pick any of the courses on Skills for Progress?

No, unfortunately not, the only courses which are registered with the LDSS funding scheme are the ones that have this specified. But, if there is another course which interests you let us know!

  1. How will I be supported in my training?

You will have access to email, phone and online support, and a tutor who will be on hand to help you every step of the way.

  1. I have booked the training, how do I pay?

If you have elected to be invoiced, we will be sending this through once your booking is processed. If you have paid at the checkout there is nothing more to do, we will simply send you your paid invoice as a remittance.

  1. How long will it take for me to get my certificate?

Once your work is marked and passed, we will send off for your certificate from the awarding body, this can take up to 4 weeks.
